Manchester United extended their lead to nine over points Liverpool with a win over the struggling Middlesbrough at the River Side. Mr. Manchester United, Ryan Giggs opened the scoring and Park got another in the second half which virtually sealed the fate of the home team. United rested Ronaldo for the clash against Arsenal and wonderboy 'Kiko' Macheda made his first League start before he was replaced by Carlos Tevez. It was a comfortable evening for the Champions who have now put one hand on the title with this win.
