2009 twenty20 world cup will be played from 5th of June to 21st June 2009. Opening game will be played between host England and the twenty20 world qualifier runners-up Ireland. And the defending champions India have announced a list of 30 probable players. And the notable omissions from the list are the two heroes of the world cup triumph. Joginder Sharma, who took the last wicket and Sreesanth, who took that catch to give India the cup are not in the list. Tamil Nadu captain R.Ashwin finds himself in the list along with Badrinath, Vijay and Balaji. Promising batsman Ajinkya Rahane has also been included. The selectors would pick the final set players from this bunch.
